Southern Viking - South Island Parts and Service Agents for Volvo, Volvo Penta and Deutz Engines

Southern Viking was formed in 1982 to represent Volvo in the South Island. We are the parts and service agents for Volvo Truck and Bus, full agents for Volvo Penta marine engines, drives and industrial engines. We also represent Deutz Engines and we offer a complete range of diesel engines from 10 to 440 kW. CNG and LPG powered engines are also available.

We service Volvo trucks and coaches to Volvo’s exacting standards, administering our own in-house servicing system for our customers. As a part of the extended Volvo family we have adopted their core values, including attention to safety, quality and care of the environment.

We have invested in the latest diagnostic equipment; and have a highly skilled team of service personnel who receive specialist training in the latest product models.

Our drive through service bays include a brake-test machine and allow for easy servicing of low clearance B trains. Our computerised dispensing equipment ensures efficient operations. Engines and other large stock items are displayed in our showroom located in our custom built facilities in Parkhouse Road.
